InfoLink: In the Samsung booth in the partner area InfoLink added a module to a LCD to allow it to receive real-time RSS feeds from the internet. They demonstrated News, Stocks, and Weather coming from the USA Today feed. The RSS Feed is user selectable and more than one feed can be used. There could be an opportunity for datacasting over the ATSC signal and embedding an RSS feed. PSIP already has this capability but very little emphasis on PSIP at the show. Only Triveni in the LG/Harris MPH suite had a PSIP demo using GPS for location and providing up to the minute info about the location of the receiver.
